P.D.O.: Protected Designation of Origin

Six actors meet each other on a stage to present pieces of "Greekness", as we know them through the "tavern logic". Taking their dramaturgical material from six real figures of the working class, they will find themselves at the same table to feast, to denounce, to argue politically, to unleash their violence, to reproduce the narratives of bourgeois democracy that want the Greek as historically and culturally "exceptional".
Based on interviews, the show moves between pure fiction, surrealism, and the subjective perception of reality.
P.D.O., guided by interviews with my people, was created with the sole purpose of stimulating, again and again, a consolidated mechanism of everyday thought and action.
